I tried to use a people picker action on a NWC Task and I keep getting content fail to load message. It does work in the design preview of the task form.

I'm getting the same error as Andrew87. People picker on Task forms fails with same 'Content failed to load' message. The control works on initiating forms and is set up correctly in settings. This is in Preview and once published.
It's a fairly new control; maybe a bug or an undocumented limitation?
Has this been resolved? We’re receiving it today… no luck as content from people picker always fails to load
Figured it out for us anyway. When assigning task forms, users have to be authenticated to be able to search the directory for users:
