I have a NWC workflow that sends assigned a Task / Form to an external user.  The task is essentially a survey to a customer.

If the user/customer does not respond by a certain date, the workflow terminates.  Prior to workflow termination the task sends an initial reminder and subsequent reminder.

However what we have found is that the workflow termination does not terminate /complete the task so the task goes rouge / loops and continues to send emails to customers, however the customers cannot complete the task because the workflow is now terminated.

This sounds like a bug to me and I have a case opened with Nintex, however I was wondering if anyone else has a solution to cancel the Active tasks that are associated with workflow that is terminated / complete.

Hi JonMiller

Can you try combination of 'escalation' after desired duration and 'auto-complete' with required default response. Does this not work for your use case.(see screenshots)
