I have 2 lists:

  1. RequestTypes has 2 columns -  Type (string) and Task Type Builder (person).
  2. Requests - I have a column that is a Lookup to the RequestTypes list.

In the lookup, under "Add a column to show  each of these additional fields:" the Type Builder field does not show up.  Is this because the field is a person?

I also tried to set a Variable to this field, but it does not seem to find it.  The variable is vTaskTypeBuilder is type "Person or Group".  Here is what my "Set a Variable" configure looks like:

Do you know if a variable can be set to a person in a list?  Or why does a person not show up as a column to show after a lookup?

people&group fields is as well a lookup field and sharepoint doesn't support to create lokkups to lookup fields.

but you should be able to store list field people&group value to workflow variable.
