Documents attached to a Process may not open in the edit tab, however they will open from the Procedure tab

The Documents may have been previously linked and updated to a new location, or have now been uploaded to Promapp rather than linked.

Where the Process hasn't been published since the change, the edit view shows the old information for the Process.  

Publish the Process to get the edit view into line with the Document and Procedure views.
