Account Management Service broker: "LDAP_NO_SUCH_OBJECT"

Issue

When creating a new User with the Account Management Service broker the following error is raised: "LDAP_NO_SUCH_OBJECT"

Your Organizational Unit structure in Active Directory looks as follows:

Resolution

• Make sure you are on the latest K2 Five (5.5) Cumulative Update and Fix Pack
• Create a second Account Management service instance
• Enter the following into the DefaultOU text box: OU=OU4,OU=OU3,OU=OU2,OU=OU1 (The order is from child to parent)

• Update the Service instance and regenerate the SmartObjects
