  • Select 'Edit Column'
  • Modify the 'Description' to your preference

Note: Do not modify any other setting on this page as it may cause functional issues with your workflow tasks

  • Click 'Ok'

Additional Information

If Content Types are not presented in the List Settings, navigate to Advanced Settings and set 'Allow management of content types?' to 'Yes'. The Nintex Task Outcomes [GUID] content types each relate to one task action in a workflow (i.e. Assign a Task). The content type that is related to your workflow action can be identified by:

  • Start your workflow and allow it to create a new task
  • Open the newly created task
  • Click on the URL in the browser; take note of the 'ContentTypeID' parameter in the URL.

Example: https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/MySite/Lists/Workflow%20Tasks/DispForm.aspx?ID=1&Source=https%3A%2F%2Ftenant%2Esharepoint%2Ecom%2Fsites%2FMySite%2FLists%2FWorkflow%2520Tasks%2FAllItems%2Easpx&ContentTypeId=0x0108003365C4474CAE8C42BCE396314E88E51F00EC744AD16B86432F8DDA7FC185956329001D0E2D42D3A246BABE2D6E2DDBC3441E007C56FBB9DDC1104BB4C58AD64C30CB37

  • In the List Settings, click on a Nintex Task Outcomes [GUID] content type.
  • Click on the URL in the browser; take note of the 'ctype' parameter in the URL.

Example: https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/MySite/_layouts/15/ManageContentType.aspx?List={EF7FD207-204D-48C2-A84D-1C222A0EA943}&ctype=0x0108003365C4474CAE8C42BCE396314E88E51F00EC744AD16B86432F8DDA7FC185956329001D0E2D42D3A246BABE2D6E2DDBC3441E007C56FBB9DDC1104BB4C58AD64C30CB37

  • If there are many content types on a Task List, this process can be cumbersome. To expedite the process, the ContentTypeID can be appended to the ctype parameter (i.e. copy/paste the ID into the URL)
