To change a service account or password

1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Services.
    
2. On the Services window, right-click the Commerce Server service for which you want to change the account name or password, and then click Properties.
    
3. Click the Log On tab. 
    
4. On the Log On tab, do the following:

   Use this To do this
   This account	Type the user name of the Windows account you want to use to authenticate this service. You must type the name in the following form: domain_nameuser_name
   Password	Type the password for this user account.
   Confirm password	Retype the password for this user account.

5. Click OK.
