Failed to run

Hi

 

We recently updated our SharePoint 2013 on-prem server to the October CU and since then we have been having issues with our workflows. The off workflow here and there fails to run on the first or sometimes second flexi task approval -see screenshot. 

 

This was happening to a greater extent on all workflows but I worked around it by removing the 'wait for' function which appeared to quick-fix the issue. 

 

Can someone from Nintex please advise how to troubleshoot and fix this issue please?

 

The Nintex version is 3.6.2.0

This was resolved by restoring old config files which was need in our case as we had manually edited them to include AuthorisedTypes entries. Then we applied a script from here: After installing .NET security patches to address CVE-2018-8421, SharePoint workflows stop working (KB 4457916/4457035 and others) | Microsoft Docs

 

If anyone else uses this, make sure you don't make any manual edits to your config files before applying these scripts. Also, you may need to run them again after additional MS updates.

    Would you be able to extract the merged ULS logs as described here: https://community.nintex.com/t5/How-To/Generating-Verbose-ULS-logs-for-Troubleshooting-with-Nintex/ta-p/114378

     

    And send these into Support@Nintex.com to further troubleshoot this issue.
