You may encounter an issue in K2 Designer where new rule(s) added to your Views or Forms are not saved.


You are also unable to return to the Rules tab after clicking on 'OK' to close the Rule Designer window.

Troubleshooting Steps

To resolve the issue, please follow these steps:


1. On the server that is hosting your K2 Designer, edit the Web.config file in [Program Files]K2 BlackpearlK2 Smartforms Designer.


2. Look for the value "maxrequestlength".


3. Increase the value for maxRequestLength. You may try doubling the value that is shown.


4. Save the changes.


5. Perform an IISRESET.
