Text in a rich text field with a space between paragraphs in SF, Word output adds an additional space or two between paragraphs.
Salesforce has two different Rich Text editor for their Classic and Lightning interface. Due to the different editors, they save the data values differently.
In classic, we are receiving data with just the line break tag for each line break but in Lightning we are receiving both paragraph and line break tags for each line break.
Instructions
We recommend the following when using the rich text field:
-If using in Lightning, we recommend adding only one line break between each paragraph instead of 2 as this is causing the extra paragraph breaks to come in
-If you are using Lightning, instead of putting a blank space in between, you can input a white text to make it look like an extra space. This will prevent the large spacing between your texts.
-The other recommendation we have is to use the Classic interface to input the rich text value as this interface gives you a closer display of what is going to be shown on your final output.
