How to automatically deploy a list workflow?

Jump to solution

Hi all,

I have a site workflow that is creating lists from a list template, which works find.

As soon as a new list is created I wanted to automatically deploy a list workflow into it.

I am not quite sure, how to do that.

I was reading about the PublishFromNWFXml Web Service, I tried to apply, but unfortunately without success.

I am using Nintex Workflow 2010 on version 2.3.10.0.

Any idea, how I can get my idea working?

Thanks for all your proposals

Will the workflow for the list be the same everytime?

What is the trouble you see happening using the PublishFromNWFXml service? Are you first querying the file using Query XML service, then updating special characters before using this web service method?

The best explanation I've seen on how to use it would be here Nintex Workflow and Site Templates | Paylord

There is now a tutorial on the community site. One of the final problems I had was a permissions problem with the credentials used to call the web service. You may want to catch the error information and then send per email via a notification task.
