Date picker to default to all 60 minutes instead of 5-min intervals?

I am creating a form in Nintex 2013 for Major Incidents.

I would like to use the date/time picker in a form, but need all 60 minutes - not 5-minute intervals.

Does anyone know how that can be done?

Also having problems calculating Duration, i.e. the difference between two date/time pickers.

Thanks!

Mary

Hi Mary.    Nintex uses SharePoints Date picker control which has 5 minute increments.  Maybe Microsoft can steer you in the right direction.

Here is my solution:

  • Create a Single Line Text Box on the Form - resize to the entire width of the form.
    • Update Settings
      • Name = DateTime
      • Not Connected
      • Data Type = String
      • Default Value = Blank
      • Under Appearance, Visible = No; Enabled = Yes
  • Add a Date/Time picker inside the "DateTime" text box
    • Update Settings
      • Name = Date
      • Not Connected
      • Default Value = Today
      • Date Only = Yes
      • Under Appearance, Visible = Yes; Enabled = Yes
  • Add a Single Line Text Box inside the "DateTime" text box and move it right next to the calendar overlapping the date box
    • Update Settings
      • Name = Time
      • Not Connected
      • Default Value = Current Time
        • Click on the Reference icon
        • Go to Common tab
        • Select Current Time
      • Under Appearance, Visible = Yes; Enabled = Yes

This will give you the current hh:mm AM/PM.  You may edit this to change the numbers.

I included this in my email notification by referencing the "DateTime" control setting (you may have to make sure you have this added as a column under List Settings also for it to show up in the Reference list).

Here is my final result:
