Issue
When attempting to access the Nintex Workflow configuration database, the following error occurs:
Failed to open a connection to the Nintex Workflow configuration database
Failed to open a connection to the Nintex Workflow configuration database
Resolution
- Open IIS console to confirm the service account running the web applications.
- Open SQL Management Studio > Security > Logins.
- Ensure the service account exists in the list of logins.
- If the account exist, right click on it, go to user mappings and make sure the Nintex database(s) are ticked and that the "WSS_Content_Application_pools" Role is added.
