Introduction

A coldfix is available to fix an issue with upgrading servers with developer licenses to K2 4.6.10. This issue was present in the K2 4.6.10.0 and K2 4.6.10.1 installer, available for download from 24 June to 16 July 2015.

Important: If you have the K2 4.6.10.2 installer, you do not need to apply this coldfix.

Installing the Coldfix

To install the coldfix, download the files using the link on the right. Extract the files to your K2 server. 

If you have upgraded to K2 4.6.10 from a version older than 4.6.9

On the K2 Server, perform the following steps:
1. Replace the files in the Installation folders of both the K2 smartforms and K2 for SharePoint installation media:

  • Setup.exe
  • SourceCode.Install.package.dll

2. Reconfigure K2 smartforms
3. Reconfigure K2 for SharePoint 2013

 

If you have upgraded to K2 4.6.10 from 4.6.9 using the Update Manager

On the K2 Server, perform the following steps:
1. Replace the files in the Installation folders of the Update Manager installation media:

  • Setup.exe
  • SourceCode.Install.package.dll

2. Re-run the Update Manager
