Code Fix: Unable to deploy a package if the K2 workflow contains PDF load methods

Issue Description

When you use the PDF SmartObject load method in an email attachment on a workflow, and created a package containing the workflow, an error occurs when you attempt to deploy the workflow.

Error Message

The following error occurs: “System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. Parameter name: Property return type cannot be null”.

Resolution

1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.3) installed.
2. Download the K2 Five (5.3) FP7 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
3. Install the K2 Five (5.3) FP7 to apply the fix.
4. It is recommended to refresh the browser cache.

Considerations

After installing this Fix Pack, you need to package the solution again before attempting to deploy the package to a target environment.
