Modified due date

I have the following scenario:

1. List item with due date column is created
2. Workflow runs on the item and assigns a flexi task to a user with a due date
3. a task gets created in the workflow tasks list with a due date column set by the workflow
4. Then the due date gets modified on the list item.

What is the best way to reflect that in the workflow? I don't want to send overdue reminders when the due date has been extended.

The main question is can the workflow handle changes to the list item when in progress with tasks assigned to users?

Hi Saeid,  The Due Date, reminder delay and other Meta Data is set at the time of the Task creation and cannot be modified by referencing a column on a list.
