Making a function call to create a signature before making web request

Hello All,

I have a use case where I want to run a python script that creates a signature, which I want to use when making a REST web request.

So, what I am expecting to run following steps in nintex:

1) Run a python(language is not major criteria here) script that will create a signature for the http request.

2) Make the REST web request with the created signature.

Is this possible to make such request? Any suggestions would be really helpful.
