Save as PDF control error: Unable to connect to the PDF Converter Service

Issue

Save as PDF control throws an error message: "The PDF could not be saved".

From the HostServerLog file, there is an error message:

 

"Failed to convert to PDF. Unable to connect to the K2 PDF Converter Service."

 

Resolution

Please see if the K2 PDF Converter Service is running. 

If it is not running, you will need to start the K2 PDF Converter Service.
