How to know the current activity in the process

Hi everyone. I'm a k2noob so forgive me if i'm telling a big mistake.

I've a process in my k2 server. This process is running. I want to have a aspx application that will connect to this k2 process without using k2smartforms. The goal is to know the name or more if possible (datafields for example) of the current activity of the process. I can do this using k2rom.dll but this only show me the curent activity if the user that is running the aspx is the same who have workitems in the activity (the same user that is in the destination rule of the activity). I'm entering with the "k2admin" user that has all the permissions to this process but he can't know wich activity is running because the activity has another user in the destination rule :( I'd like to have something more powerfull.

I tried the k2mng.dll but i'm not getting what i really want.
I'd like to have some help from you please [] thks
