We are running a small SharePoint Farm. We have 3 servers.
SharePoint, SQL, and K2.
SQL stays behind the firewall, and SharePoint has an SSL Cert.
I think for K2 approvals to work from the outside and on phones correctly we need to give the K2 server an external IP address...? We also plan to use K2 SmartForms heavily.
My question is: Do most people spend the money on an ssl cert for the k2 server, or just count on the authentication to keep bad guys out? We are using AD as our only authentication in all environments.
