K2 Processes and .Net Framework

All of our processes are currently built with Target Framework = 3.5.  However I believe it is possible to use Framework 4.0 providing a setting is changed on the K2 Host Server is this correct.

 

Also can we mix the two because we would like to deploy the upgraded projects in batches rather than all at the same time because of the regression testing.

From this blog post I found, it seems that due to backwards compatibility, you "should" be OK.  However, I'd test first in a safe environment before implementing this.
