Dear expert,
IE 11 browser does not close the browser and shows a blank screen when a smartform rule action 'then close the browser window' is applied. It used to work for previous IE version. Is there any settings need to be done in the browser side or in the Smartform. Please help. Thanks.

We noticed this behavior and instead of trying to close the browser we actually just send them to our internal portal which is the default browser home page anyway. I know this is not a solution but it does work the same way in every browser. The rule is "navigate to a URL".

Hi,
Our browser is to open the smartform. When a user submit the form, it should be closed than navigating to another URL. Please let me know why IE11 is not closing the browser, what browser setting need to be done. Thanks.

Sorry we never found a solution to force IE to close the browser window. Maybe someone else has. Another work around would be to send to another URL with a success message and says please close the browser.
