Symptoms
1. When user accesses the K2 Management Page in Appit an “Access Denied” error is displayed.
2. When Running the K2 Registration Wizard, the following error is displayed: "SmartObject property K2ServerUrl is a required property for selected method ManageK2ServerURL. Value must be set."
Diagnoses
1. Asked Client to log in using an account with K2 Administration rights to assign the required permission to his account.
2. Found that the K2 Appit for SharePoint app was still on version 1.3 but the backend server was already upgraded to Appit 1.4
Resolution
1. Client used a different account with K2 Administration rights to assign the required permission to his account.
2. The K2 Appit for SharePoint app was manually updated to Appit 1.4 in the SharePoint App Catalogue. Appit 1.4 was redeployed and the Registration Wizard was successfully run. K2 Appit for SharePoint was also successfully deployed and then activated against the required Site Collection.
