I'm trying to publish a SmartObject from a custom Dynamic ServiceObject.  I'm getting this exception when I try to create a SmartObject exposed by the Service.

I've read the post on here about making sure the GUIDs match, the GUID being reported in the exception matches the GUID of the Service Instance.

I've tried registering the Service Type/Instance in both the SmartObject Tester and the ServiceBroker tool, and no matter what, that exception gets thrown and the GUIDs all match.

I'm at a loss as to where to look next.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Figured it out, if the Active property on the ServiceOBject wasn't set to true this error was being thrown.  Set Active = true and this error went away and the SmartObject was registered successfully.

Surely a better exception could have been thrown indicating the underlying problem..

I would have suggested to use the SmO Syncing Tool, but that is interesting.

Frikkie!
