Activity Instance Destination SmartObject not showing K2 Roles assigned

K2 5.6 FP21.

Created a stage and assigned K2 Role as recipient.

Created workitem then redirected one to an individual user.

K2 Admin, Task List of the workitem I see the K2 Role shown in the destination in addition to the individual.

SmartObject Workflow Reports/Workflow General/Activity Instance Destination only shows the individual and not the K2 Role.

If recipient is an AD group then it would show up in SmO.

Is this a bug for K2 Five for K2 Role not showing up in SmO?

Compared to an old process via VS2015, I do see K2 Roles show up in Activity Instance Destination SmO.

@PYao

By default, the Resolve groups to individuals setting will be enabled.  If you disable this you will see that it will show the role/group instead.

It did not have “Resolve groups to individuals” checked.

Experimented further, this behavior also appears in the VS2015 process.

When a K2 Role is redirected to a person in K2 Admin Task List, it showed the new person + the K2 Role in the Task list, but only the new person shows in SmO Activity Instance Destination.

If I redirect from K2 Role again to a 2nd person, K2 Admin Task List now shows Person 1 & 2 & K2 Role for the workitem, but SmO Activity Instance Destination now only shows Person 2.

I see.  It looks like the redirect action is what results in the behavior you are seeing.  Unfortunately, I am not sure if it is expected or or bug; but it is reproducible.

Confirmed the user in K2 Role can still access the workitem, so this seems like a bug in SmO Activity Instance Destination.

I am using this SmO to display the recipients the task is assigned to.    Could you have Dev take a look?

Thanks.
