    Manually prioritizing service requests is common enterprise process. In many cases requests are sorted by a dedicated reviewer who is unable to help solve issues due to need to triage requests immediately and the time spent sorting and logging requests.

     

    With Nintex Workflow Cloud, a mobile form, and Salesforce, you can quickly create a workflow that captures field service requests and logs a case based on priority. For high priority requests, you can provide immediate response such as a quickly posted message on a Slack emergency response channel notifying an of the issue.

     

    The Nintex Workflow Cloud Escalate Field Service Requests template helps you get a head start managing your document review and approval business process. Starting from this simple automated review process, you can extend your workflow into a sophisticated multi-reviewer workflow that supports negotiations between multiple reviewers.

     

    This template highlights how Nintex Workflow Cloud workflows connect to the Dropbox EFFS (Enterprise File Synchronization and Sharing) system and automates email based document approvals. The workflow responds to a new document being added to a "Draft" folder by sending an approval request email to a selected reviewer, and moves the document to an "Approved" or "Rework" folder based on the response.

    1. Start from a mobile form submission
    2. Send “Workflow Started” email
    3. Branch if the message contains “Gas”
    4. Create a High or Low priority Salesforce task record
    5. If high-priority, Send Slack message
    6. Email workflow completion with task details

    Quickstart with the template

    1. Create connections to Salesforce and Slack from Nintex Workflow Cloud
    2. Use Save As to create a copy of the {Template} Escalate Field Service Requests.
    3. Select your Salesforce connection in the Update record action
    4. Select your Slack connection in the  Send message action
    5. Publish and test the workflow
