Can a non default content type be opened on mobile devices?

I have a list with multiple content types as the new and edit forms required different fields to be shown.

However, when trying to open any form which is not the default content type on a mobile device, even from a direct link with the Content Type Id appended, e.g. https://sitename.sharepoint.com/lists/listname/editform.aspx?ID=1&ContentTypeId=0x01004CFB3ACE5AB880438FFD067A401500B5002A7F15FB6AE1DD4097FEAD5D6B2BC969  it always opens the default Content Type form.

e.g. New form = default content type with a few fields.  Edit form = non default content type with more fields which is the one mostly used on mobile devices but new form opens from direct link.

Is there any way to force mobile devices to open the correct form associated to a specific content type?
