I have just installed 30 day trial and want to be sure before I purchase the product, but when I go to publish my workflow I do not see the start options?
A dumb one on my part, the start options only show on List workflows, and I was doing a site workflow! I know better now.
What do you mean 'Start Options'?
The dialog box for publishing, please see attached. The history is the last item I see.
Hey Kent, you'll find the start options in the Workflow Settings button in the ribbon of the Workflow designer.
They don't show up there either, that is what is puzzling, are they available only to a certain level of security?
It looks like you are in the wrong place. You should be in the Workflow Designer. In other words, open the workflow and you will see all of the actions to the left. In the ribbon above click on 'Workflow Settings' as Emily Billing stated.
Actually I am in the place you describe, please see the images below that represent the sequence of how I am doing it.
That is very strange. If you can get into the designer, you should be able to get into the settings I'd think. You may want to ask Emily Billing if that is a feature of the trial version. I would think it is.
No I don't believe it would have anything to do with security, or the fact you're on a trial. It's possible you may need to update. Would you be able to submit a Support so our team can look into it. On the support ticket form, make sure in the Product field you select O365.
Hi, i'm the site collection administrator for kent. I have tried to submit a support ticket, the instructions say to leave the license key blank but when i hit submit it doesn't allow me. Can you enter this for me or have one of your support people reach out to me?
Hi Aaron, did you select "O365" in the product field? When you select O365, the license key field should disappear.
Thanks that was it.
This issue has been resolved, thank so much for the help.
No worries! Glad to hear you have it working What was the issue?
oh not at all, it should have been a question we asked! But I'm super glad you worked it out, and you're unlikely to repeat it again
