I'm trying to create a workflow that needs a recurring reminder every 2 weeks for projects.
To avoid having workflows that are paused for long periods of time, one of the simplest things is to use a scheduled workflow. When you have a fixed interval (like 2 weeks), the scheduled workflow simply fires each day, checks against a known time (like a created/modified date) and if it matches that date plus the interval it sends off the reminder email.
