Hello, I was wondering if there is a way to change Nintex SMTP settings under Global Settings Via PowerShell and/or NWAdmin.exe, I see this section in the install guide but was not sure if it would wipe out the entire set of settings if I created an XML document with just the SMTP settings in it.

Thanks.

SG.

Here is the section I am referring to in install guide:

ConfigureSettings

Description

This operation is used to automatically perform the configuration steps usually carried

out in the configuration pages in Nintex Workflow. This can be used as part of an automated

install process.

The values to set are defined in an XML file. The schema file “NintexWorkflowSetup.xsd”

exists in the Nintex Workflow install directory and must be used to create the xml file.

Usage

NWAdmin.exe -o ConfigureSettings -file pathToXMLFile

Parameters

-file The location of the xml file containing the configuration settings

Examples

.....

An example of part of the GlobalSettings:

<GlobalSettings>

<SmtpServer></SmtpServer>

<SmtpFromAddress></SmtpFromAddress>

<SmtpReplyToAddress></SmtpReplyToAddress>

<EnforceSafeLooping>true</EnforceSafeLooping>

<DefaultTaskListName>Workflow Tasks</DefaultTaskListName>

</GlobalSettings>
