Hi there,

I'm currently migrating SharePoint 2010 farm with Nintex Workflow 2010 installed to SharePoint 2013 with Nintex Workflow 2013. Following the guidelines in "Nintex Workflow 2010 – 2013 Upgrade instructions" I'm running into an error at step "Nintex Workflow Configuration Database > Using an existing configuration database". When mounting the restored Nintex configuration (and content) database in SharePoint 2013 the following error message appears in Central Admin: "Sorry, something went wrong
Unexpected SQL error occurred. Server name: SERVICE_ALIAS; Database name: NintexWorkflowDb."

In the ULSLogs there's some more detailed information/error message:

To make a long story short: I'm pretty clueless how to solve this error. However, what I've seen is that when I then create a new configuration database and mount the above database as content database only, it obviously works. Well, I don't want to create a new configuration database but migrate everything from source SharePoint 2010 system to target 2013 environment.

Anybody has a clue what might be the error here?

Forgot to mention the respective versions of Nintex Workflow and its database. Nintex Workflow 2010 is running at version 2.4.4.11, database schema versions as follows:

Data Source=spdbserver;Initial Catalog=SP2010_Nintex;Integrated Security=True
Type: Configuration
Version: 2.0.2.7
Data Source=spdbserver;Initial Catalog=SP2010_Nintex;Integrated Security=True
Type: Content
Version: 2.0.2.7

Nintex Workflow 2013 is running at version 3.1.2.0. Dedicated database version is 3.0.0.9 (when creating new configuration/content database).

Any help and support is appreciated.

Kind regards and thanks in advance

Michael
