How do I get the max value from a library column inside of a Nintex 2013 workflow?

I am using O365
I guess that you should specify item limit to 1 and for field, select the column containing the max
You could iterate in a loop getting each value and using the fn-max function
You can use a Query List and sort on the column Descending order and with Maximum numbers of row = 1.
Perhaps I should have specified Nintex workflow version because my Query List screen doesn't have the same options as your screen shot shows. The only thing I can think of to explain that is different versions maybe. If I can figure out how to get it to work then it looks like a very elegant solution. My Query List looks like this:
I'm also having trouble setting the output from the query list. I need the returned value from the field Contract Counter to end up in the workflow variable iContract Counter because I have to do several other things with that value later in the workflow.
After selecting the field, you should be able to select a Workflow Variable to store the result.
I tried to mark all of your replies as the answer because all together got me to where I need to be but it only allows 1 "answer" to be chosen. You are awesome! Thank you very much!
