Generated hyperlink now missing href data

Question asked by pjenrow on Feb 18, 2015

I had a workflow which generated a clickable link in a list.  This list was shown as a listview web part, and the link was used to open an event registration form.  Subsequent to an upgrade to Nintex 2013, the href section of the tag is no longer generated.  There is no error in Nintex, and an anchor tag is created, but the href="" portion of the link is removed at some point in the process.  This SharePoint environment was recently upgraded from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013, but in SP 2010 emulation.  Further, Nintex was upgraded from 2010 to 2013.

Before the upgrade, the hyperlink generated through the workflow would appear as a working link:

Now, after the migration/upgrade, the href information is not rendered.

The workflow step to generate the text seems pretty normal, but after the upgrade, the href content is removed at some point:

While this problem may not be a Nintex issue, I just wondered if anyone had any ideas on how to approach this from a troubleshooting process.

Thanks!
