The error is on an assigned flexitask. the task is created then stops at the flexitask and the email notifications do not submit and the task list when you try to open it has an error. Please help.

could you check the associated workflow task list in the workflow settings? Is the referenced list still present?
Could it be that the workflow list has been manipulated?
You could try to set up a new task list and configure it as the workflow task list in the workflow settings.
Does this solve the problem?
I ended up re-writing the workflow and eliminating the flexi-task and just creating an email notification for the business to access the item and update.
