Loop waiting for OWSTIMER instead of W3WP

Question asked by gima on Feb 10, 2015

Hi,

I am creating a workflow in SharePoint 2010 - Nintex Workflow 2010.

The problem is my loop doesn't continuous after 3-5 minutes. First times it runs on the w3wp process but afterwards it runs on the owstimer process and this is what is causing a delay (3-5 minutes every loop). Safe looping is on, as it is necessary in this case. I also have an For Each, this isn’t giving me any trouble and runs directly. The only thing happening in the loop is a math operation and a build string.

Is there something I am doing wrong? It’s a very basic workflow so I do not think it is a performance issue.

Kind regards,

Giz
