Can I have a SharePoint Form run side by side a Nintex Form from the same list? So basically I may decide to use the Nintex Form sometimes and the SharePoint version other times.
It really depends. Once you publish a Nintex form for a content type, that is the only one you can use for that content type.
If you have a second content type then it can use a SharePoint form while the other is Nintex.
You could add a custom form from a solution that does not override the NewForm, but does a save of a new item. But in this case it will not open to this form when you click New Item for the content type it is associated with.
So maybe you can have identical content types when related to its fields, but different names in the same list. This way the user will have to choose which to add from. Or you could link to it from somewhere else.
Thanks Andrew will try this out.
I agree with Andrew... thats an odd requirement. Possible but what would the benefit be because the page would only allow on submit action at a time and you can technically only submit one set of data to the item at a time.
Please do update us on your findings.
