Fill in Excel formula with Excel Service SetRange

Question asked by joese on Oct 8, 2018

I set up an SetRange Excel Service and want to fill in a formula in the last column. But the formula is recognised as string and thus is not calculated. Below you can find the SOAP code:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>

<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/excel/server/webservices" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema">

<soap:Body>

<SetRange>

<sessionId>{WorkflowVariable:stxtSessionID}</sessionId>

<sheetName>Sheet1</sheetName>

<!-- Optional -->

<rangeCoordinates>

<Row>0</Row>

<Column>0</Column>

<Height>1</Height>

<Width>4</Width>

</rangeCoordinates>

<!-- Optional -->

<rangeValues>

<anyType xsi:type="ArrayOfAnyType">

<anyType xsi:type="xsd:string">12345678</anyType>

<anyType xsi:type="xsd:string">Test</anyType>

<anyType xsi:type="xsd:string">Test2</anyType>

<anyType xsi:type="xsd:string">=vlookup(A1;E:F;2;false)</anyType>

</anyType>

</rangeValues>

</SetRange>

</soap:Body>

</soap:Envelope>

Could anybody help me with this, please?
