Archiving List Items with call web service

Question asked by dyhouse on Aug 20, 2018

Hi all,

I am hoping someone can help me, I am creating a workflow using Nintex (for SP2013-On-Prem) and due to the size of the list we want to archive, I have been advised to create a site workflow on the list. I have then been told that the best approach is to use the call a web service within the first workflow and use it to call a second list workflow. This all makes sense to me but I am not entirely sure what the second WF needs to contain or how it should be configured for success.

So this is what I have on the original workflow, under the run if in the screenshot is a epeat of the same action but for 200 items and this repeats to 1500.

Now if I want to copy and delete the items, what needs to go in the list workflow that the 'Call web service' calls? The screen shot below shows what I think but it seems too simple?

Can anyone please help? I have scoured the forums but no-one has a great answer to this. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
