We have create a training calendar for one of our departments in SharePoint 2010. When we scheduled a training class and indicated someone as the instructor, an email notification is sent out, but the email shows “pending” in the instructor field. The email sends out the following message to the students in the class:
This s a confirmation that Pending is scheduled to teach:
Course ID - 24
Course Title - fake training
Start Time - 10/29/2014 4:00 PM
End Time - 10/29/2014 5:00 PM
Location - room 18
The word "pending" is written into the Instructor Field. It has been fixed by putting in a pause to delay it long enough to update the instructor field with the instructor's name, which is working well. My question is without the pause, why does the word "Pending" get written into the Instructor field first?
