Currently I'm working on a SP 2013 On-Prem solution using a Nintex Live Form. When a submitted form is received, a workflow is triggered, which, among other actions, should send an email to the business team. All action seem to work properly, except for the Send Email action: the email action is completed, but the message is never sent/received.

- Forms: 18.104.22.168
As a workaround, the actual workflow is triggered from another workflow using a Web Request/Service call with a system account.
Does anyone has a clue why the Send Email is not working properly?
