dropbox + vlookup() not able to connect to a field

Is this a normal behaviour for a dropbox that is using vlookup() not to be able to assign it to a specific field?



If so, how to establish that?


The only way I can think of at moment is by adding an Update Item via workflow, to update the field (Currency) with the value selected in the SelectCurrency dropdown box.
