Workflow Timer Job/Service on dedicated App server

Question asked by jherschel on Mar 23, 2017

With the new versions of Nintex Workflow, the Workflow Timer Job can now run on Non-web front ends (before on older versions, the Worflow timer had to run on web front ends).

We don't want the workflows to impact CPU and RAM on the web front ends, so we are planning on moving the Workflow Timer service to a dedicated app server.

Has anyone else done this, thinking of doing this?

PS- I tried posting this in Community Feedback, but it was grayed out...
