How can I edit the content that appears on workflow approval form that is generated using a Flexi task?
with InfoPath you won't get that out of the box. I posted an entry on my blog a few weeks ago that shows you how to do this kind of thing
From the Flexi Task model to configure the action, do you see in the ribbon the Edit Task Form button?
Are all of the Forms features activated for the site collection?
They were not so I did activate them. I also activated the ability to edit the forms with InfoPath. However, the Item Properties is the section I wish to edit and that section does not appear in the InfoPath design form.
So you do not want to use Nintex Forms, but Infopath?
You can still add to the infopath form the values of the item and create the section. It just doesn't create it automatically like Nintex Forms do.
We do not currently have Nintex Forms licensed or loaded so therefore we are using Infopath.
have you activated the site collection feature "Nintex Workflow 2013/2010 InfoPath Forms"? YOu need to activate it to be able to customise your forms using InfoPath. Additionally you need InfoPath Forms Services.
Yes I have. The form opens in Infopath 2010 but it is the Item Properties section that does nor appear and that is the section I wish to edit.
Patrick, This appears to work very well but I have another quick question. Where do I publish the form?
In InfoPath you just hit quick publish or the normal publishing button. That should have all the settings applied. The task form will be saved as part of the workflow. You will have to do this for every task in your workflow.
