I am new to Nintex office 365. Can you please suggest steps for sending email notification on end of schedule task or meeting.
Hi! If there is any field in your task/ calendar item hat is being changed when end date is reached (for example for the task it would probably be the status field that is set to "Completed") then you can create a workflow that is fired when item is created and having two actions - first "Wait for Field Change in Current Item" that waits for the "Status" to be equal to "Completed" and the second - you actual "Send email" action.
Thanks for the reply. But i don't have any column that will be change one my event is over. I checked Nintex workflow does not have any workflow scheduler which can check which all events are running or completed.
Indeed, scheduling work-flows is not yet possible in Nintex for O365, but work to implement it had already been started.
One option I see is to create a event's list work-flow with a loop, that is looping until current date is bigger or equal than the end date of the event.
To do that you have to create a datetime variable and use "set workflow variable" action. When pointing to your date time var you will notice a checkbox to set its value to a date and time when the action is executed and for ex. add an action to pause workflow for a day..
Or even to calculate diff in days between current date and end date, then pause the workflow and check the rule after unpausing.
However in case you have multiple events ongoing I think such solution can have an impact on your tenant efficiency, but I have no hard proves
You can also try this workaround: Scheduled Workflows in Office 365 for scheduling workflows in O365
