When will Terminate Site Workflow be available for onpremise sharepoint
This has been a problem I have dealt with for over 2 years now. We just recently figured out a Nintex-only solution. Here's a link: Terminate SharePoint Site Workflows with Nintex Workflow Part 1| SharePoint How-To – Nellis Consulting, LLC
I'm fairly sure you can terminate a Site Workflow using the nintex workflow webservice.
The specified item was not found.
Fairly sure you can use the terminate workflow method to terminate any workflow.
Thankyou Ryan for the list provided. I'm new to Nintex this list will be really very useful for me.
I have a site workflow which increments a column of list by 1 everyday.
Case: When the worklow gets errored in between, I want to schedule another site workflow
which terminates the incrementing workflow and starts it again from the point of error and increments the remaining items of the list.
Please guide me in acomplishing this...
Be careful this doesn't get stuck in a loop.
Do you want to schedule another workflow when an error occurs or do you want to call another workflow?
Yes, I want to schedule another workflow which will run after 30 min of the first workflow (incrementing workflow).
And checks the status of 1st workflow if it is error ,the 2nd workflow terminates the 1st workflow and starts it again from the point of error.
Can this be achieved?
Could the AddWorkflowSchedule method from the Nintex web service be an option for you?
Well, but first I have to check whether the incrementing workflow has got error or not.
If it is error that I can use this AddWorkflowSchedule and can schedule the workflow again.
But, how can I check the first case from the workflow?
Can you use Web Service/Web Request actions to perform whatever you need in your first workflow? These actions offer error handling methods by default. Afterwards you can set a condition in your workflow and create a different path for the error case.
