Issues related to form submission and confirmation before closing the form.

Question asked by asingh on Jul 27, 2016

We are currently using Nintex Forms Version: 2.6.0.0. We are running into some issues related to form submission and confirmation before closing the form. We have requirements where when user clicks the Submit button on the form we want to show the confirmation dialog box with one of the form field values. e.g. "Are you sure you want to submit this form? Notification: - You selected to send email to all." Since we need to display confirmation dialog based on the values selected on the form we created a custom javascript function and called that function on ClientClick of submit button. Now the challenge is this confirmation dialog gets fired before the form validation completes and hence we cannot check the validation results. If user selects OK on the confirmation dialog we are passing true and that bypass all the validation on the form. So we put all our logic inside NWF$(document).submit(function () { .... Everything works here except if user click Cancel on confirmation dialog the form is not submitted but it stays empty. It does not render any of the controls. Can someone please help us with this?
