Saving attachments from tasks

Question asked by aaron.webb@comvita.com on Jul 6, 2016

This has kinda been asked before without success, so hope I can try to ask again and hope to get a better response.

I'm able to save list form attachments into a document library, no problems.

I want to add attachments into task forms and have them save into the same doc lib folder as the list item.

The saving of list attachment relies on the ID of the list item which is easily found by using CurrentItem:ID attribute.

When saving task attachments, they go into the Workflow Tasks > ID and I can see them in SP Designer.

What I can't seem to do, is to be able to use Nintex to find out what the Workflow Task ID of the task that has just happened and then use the same attachment saving workflow to save the attachments to the same folder.

I'm testing it by using the Log to History List and trying to discover the right menu combinations to give me the correct related Workflow Task ID.
