I am getting error in nintex workflow "Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute" .Please help . I am just sending the notification to the user.
Thanks In advance
It can help if you add a 'commit pending changes' or 'pause for' action prior to the notification action.
Are you doing the notification within a For Each loop? I have seen a similar error when modifying the content of a collection while also looping through the collection with a For Each loop. For example you can't POP values using the collection operation and instead should GET them (which does not remove the item from the collection)
Thanks for reply.. I will check and let you know.
subhash mandekar - did this help?
I have same issue in my workflow. I am not sending notification inside any loop. Still this issue occur once in a while. What would be the underlying problem and how to resolve this?
Thanks for your suggestion Gert. Just now i saw this response. However my workflow has multiple places where emails are involved. Some like approval request notifications and some like notifying submitter that their request is approved. When submitter submits multiple requests back to back then approvers are complaining that they are missing some emails. Similarly if multiple requests are processed within shorter window of time by approvers then submitters are not receiving their notifications, that would say their request is approved. If only solution is to add a 'commit pending changes' or 'pause for' action before every notification then workflow will become super huge. Is there any other way to overcome this?
I think it's better if you contact Nintex Support. They can review your workflow and give you advise.
More info about when to use the pending changes action can you find here:
Will do that. Thanks Gert.
