My workflow suddenly stopped notifying. Even after recreating with Send an email workflow, it is not functioning properly.. Urgent resolution needed please
just for an right understanding.
You have a workflow, with only one "Send an email" action (Configured probably), and it won't work?
yes.. it used to work perfectly with 2 or 3 groups addressed to 'to' address. All of a sudden it stopped working .. Redoing the whole thing is a nightmare now.
Pls check if the groups still configured that everyone can see the groupmembers
yes the groups have read and contribute access to the list, they just are not getting notified on the email.
just one more idea.
Please "Set an alert" on any list, and check if you recive any notification (Send via email/ send notifications immediately), when any update on the list items happened
I think so you can check if the mail - send works generally
Alerts are working on my library. just the workflow notifications are not working.
as written in the other post, I recommend that you should contact the Nintex support. Sry
Let us know what Support says, Terence Terence, thanks!
I dint really get an answer from the Support team. how do I represent current item using code?, the links do not work.
Did you start a case or just not get an answer at all? I can ask. Here's where to go: Ask Support
yes, I got a call. But they did not revert with a fix yet. I am just curious to know why the links broke, my workflows were perfectly working until this issue occurred. is this something we cannot rely on?
Hi, Terence Terence, I just asked Support if they lost you, and the records they have say they reached out on the 19th and hope to hear back from you. Maybe there's an email that got shunted to your trash?
Can you ask the support to resend that email as I do not have anywhere in my mailbox.
this is what I have done: reconfigured the send mail action. readded the 'To' address fields which has 2 groups. added the workflow item properties and workflow context wherever necessary. Did not work.
Exported and imported the workflow, deleted and recreated the components on each action. Did not work.
Do we have any other suggestions?

did you try.
1. Check if "Everyone" is allowed to see the groupmembers
2. Adding only one Group
3. Adding only an user
4. Check if every user has an E-Mail address, which is synced into sharepoint
I tried all the above methods but no luck. this was perfectly working for months together..
I have had the same issue repeating for a while now - email will randomly stop working to the group/s but email will be delivered to the individual users in the same Action.
Exchange does not show the email passing through.
Sending to these groups works fine using Outlook.
I do receive an error on the item (Workflow Terminated) stating the group cannot be found, which is ridiculous as it can be found and was working yesterday.
Unsure of why this has happened, neither the support guys are finding it difficult to come to a conclusion!
What type of group is it?
Two normal site collection SharePoint groups.
This sounds obvious, but is the user that you are testing with still contained within the group that it is assigned to? I saw once where the user had been removed from the group and the workflow had magically stopped sending notifications.... Simply adding them back to the group fixed it. Got to love the easy ones. Not sure if its the case for you or not but worth mentioning.
Hi Mike. I have the same issue as Terence. Not one of 9 people in the group receive the email. As far as the action is concerned, it is sending to an email address.
I am worried as to why this has happened in the first place.
