I'm trying to get a date in UTC format. Any tips?
Hi Ward Denotté,
one method to get a date in UTC format is to save it in a string variable, ISO formatted..the result is UTC based and you can rework it manipulating the string.
in the screenshot, date is a date/time variable and utc is a string variable
check out the calculate date action..
Hi Daniel Stoll,
I should have given more background, sorry.
Users fill in a date&time in a list form. Users have different Regional Settings.
I want to get the UTC-equivalent of that date&time in a variable.
You might check SharePoint Lists.asmx web service, GetListItems web method. There is queryOptions for GetListItems web method that you can pass "<DateInUtc>TRUE</DateInUtc>" to get time as UTC.
